A life well lived. Humble, and honest. Proud of his family and loved by all who knew him.

A proud USMC member who served in Korea, Iwo Jima and the Occupation of Japan.

Born in Murdock, Kansas February 19, 1925 to Clyde Edward and Mary Maude, (Shucker) Mitchell. Married to his high school sweetheart, Marolyn Janice Mitchell on August 22, 1946. They spent 72 happy years together, "Janice" preceded him in death, along with his parents "CE" and Mary Maude, three brothers, Jim Mitchell, Jack Mitchell, Robert Mitchell and their beloved sister Luellla Stewart.

He is survived by his children, Connie Vagnino, Mark (Laura) Mitchell, Kerry Widerman and Sally Mitchell. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, Vincent Vagnino, Tara Griffith, Amanda (Adam) Bartczak, Alyssa (Jake) Gibbons, Christopher (Kelly) Mitchell, Derrick Boesel, Mitch Boesel, and 7 great grandchildren.
