Connie E. Johnston

Connie Evans Johnston passed away after years of health concerns related to her brain cancer that was diagnosed on July 3rd 2019. She fought through many different diagnoses but remained strong and determined. Her joy for life and steadfast spirit kept her going through it all.

Connie was born in 1955 to Jane and Robert Evans in Wisconsin. She was raised throughout the Midwest in Christ with her sister Char. She developed her love of pigs through the family farms and was homecoming queen while in high school in Fairfield Iowa. Connie was very outgoing and a friend to all.

Connie married Gary in 1990 and lived together in Aurora, Colorado throughout their journey together.

Connie was a medical secretary for many years through Health One and met many lifelong friends through the years. Her upbeat attitude and joy helped everyone she came into contact with.

Connie also loved to volunteer with children in Sunday school and to help bring them to Christ. She cared deeply about her family and friends and would help them in any way that she could.

Connie was an amazing mother to her daughter Carlye who was raised in Christ through love and devotion with her husband Gary.
Connie's bright attitude and outgoing personality will be missed by many.

Connie is survived by her husband Gary, sister Char and daughter Carlye.

A memorial service will be held in her honor at Mission Hills church on September 14th 2023. This will also be available for live streaming for those who are not able to attend in person.
