There will be no funeral or public calling hours for Connie Maureen Mallette, 65,of Aurora, Colorado, a native of Gouverneur, New York.
Mrs. Mallette died quietly in her sleep, Thursday, 13 December 2007, at her home in Aurora, Colorado.
Born June 12, 1942 in Gouverneur, daughter of Merrill F. and Frances E., (Crary) Burns, she attended Gouverneur schools.
A marriage to Francis (Butch) Mallette ended in divorce.
Mrs. Mallette received an Associates Degree from Jefferson Community College, Watertown, New York, in 1990, and has been working for various companies in the printing industry for many years.
Surviving are two sons, Steven Burns, Watertown, New York, and Darin Widrick, Philadelphia, New York, and two daughters and son-in-laws, Penny and Jay Rickert, Denver, Colorado and Jodi and Charles Carr, Lake Havasu City, Arizona, and one granddaughter and five grandsons. Also surviving are two sisters, Patricia Millard and her husband Phillip, Hilton, New York, and Merrilyn Merkley, Selma, North Carolina, and a brother-in-law, Milo Pritty, Florida, and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, a brother, James D., and a sister, Carolyn G. Pritty, died before her.
A memorial in New York may be planned at a later date.
