Consuelo Malonson, 88 of Littleton, Colorado, died on Wednesday June 15,2022. She was born to the late Jose and Maria Robles, April 10, 1934, in Denver, Colorado. Consuelo (Connie) graduated from Manual High School in 1952. Upon graduation she enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in hopes to see the world while serving her country. She met Cpl. Harold J Malonson from Stoneham Massachusetts and married him on her 20th Birthday on April 10th in 1954.
Shortly after she married, she obtained an honorable discharge from the Marines. She and Harry moved back to her hometown of Denver, Colorado to start their family. Within 12 years they had 6 children, 5 boys and 1 girl, not to mention the quiver full of grandchildren and great grandchildren they had.
Connie had several jobs while raising her children; she worked at the Department of Motor Vehicle, Title companies, in Retail and her last position of over 20 years at Wieland School where she was a Teacher Assistant of children with Special Needs.
After retirement, she loved to read Christian fiction, photo scrapbooking, seeing her large family at gatherings and visits to her home, and spending time with the Love of her life Harry. She and Harry would travel across the country to visit family and return to the east coast to visit Boston, New York, Washington DC and the Marine base where they met and church where they were married.
Consuelo is survived by her four children: Richard (Linda) Malonson, Daniel Malonson, and David Malonson, of Littleton, Colorado. Sharon (Joseph) Martinelli of Poulsbo, Washington. She is also survived by many 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents Jose and Maria Robles, Husband Harold (Harry) Malonson, son Kenneth (Kenny) Malonson, son Gregory (Greg) Malonson.
A viewing will be Held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 901 S Sheridan Blvd, Lakewood, CO on July 6, 2022 from 10:30 am to 11:30am. Services will follow viewing at Newcomers Funeral Home from 11:30am to 12:30pm. Burial services will be held at Ft. Logan National Cemetery at 1:30 pm.
