Cora Yvonne Martinez

Cora Yvonne Martinez passed away on October 23, 2023, after many years of illness. She is preceded in death by Joe Garcia and Helen Norris (father and mother), Sam and Gertrude Gurule (grandfather and grandmother), Frank and Steve Garcia (brothers), and Frances Deherrera (aunt). She is survived by her husband Mark Martinez, daughter Jozette Martinez (Love), grandson Isaiah, loving in-laws, extended family, and many friends.

Cora lived a life of service and care for all of those that she encountered. She poured her heart into caring for her family, and proudly served as a nurse for many years where she touched many more lives. Cora took much pride in all that she did and always saw a task to completion. Her creativity knew no bounds, and she loved to cook for family and friends alike. Her recipes have graced many a potluck, school function, and family feast.

Cora brought joy to all who knew her, and though her presence will be dearly missed, her memory will go on being a source of comfort to those who have loved and continue to love her for years to come.
