Craig was born May 16, 1962 and was the youngest of 4 children. During childbirth his mother suffered complications and both her and Craig had to be revived. He was handsome young man, with brown eyes and beautiful golden hair. Craig did his best to be a good kid, but from even at a young age he had an ornery streak. Craig made friends easily and those friends became friends for life.
Craig often struggled in school, and decided to discontinue traditional education and attended the Mountain Open High School in Evergreen. He did well there but did not have enough structure and chose to drop out of high school. Some years later he obtained his GED.
Because of Craig's good looks and easy going demeanor, he had no trouble attracting females. And although Craig was popular with the ladies, he chose long term meaning full relationships with just a handful of women. He did get married once, to a person who had several children and he treated them as his own. Sadly, Craig did not have any of his own children.
Craig enjoyed the outdoors, he loved to hike and camp. His ashes will be scattered at Lost Park near Deckers which Craig often said was his favorite place to camp.
Craig was an avid skier in his teens and was fearless.
Craig was teased about having nine lives as he cheated death numerous times. He often noted that he had more than one guardian angel that that took care of him..
Craig loved all animals, but cats seemed to be very fond of Craig and he was very fond of them.
Craig was a Christian, although he did not belong to a church.
Craig was a loving brother and son. In his later years he struggled with an alcohol addiction that he could not shake. This was hard on both Craig and his family, and his Fiancé, Theresa.
He passed away March 2, 2010 and now resides in God's loving arms and no longer has to suffer with his addiction.
