Dagmar B. Verbeek, 82, of Aurora, passed away June 14, 2021.
She was born December 9, 1938 in Berlin, Germany, the daughter of Walter and Frieda (Scharein) Ziegener.
Dagmar retired from Jeppeson Aviation after a long career as a Supervisor.
Dagmar was a seamstress by trade. She, along with her sister and aunts, worked for the designer, Heinz Oestergaard, in Berlin, Germany. Her favorite project was the wedding dress that she helped create for German actress, Maria Schell. She will forever be remembered by her favorite statement, "I love you more."
Dagmar is survived by three children, Bettina (Rodney) Seidel, Susie Pinkus (Kory Miller) and Frank (Tiffany) Harris; grandchildren, Shaun Usher, Cullen Pinkus and Blake Harris; 2 great-grandchildren, Christopher and Nina Usher; sister, Hannelore Daffron; nieces and nephew, Debbie, Michael and Marilyn; 3 stepchildren and a host of friends.
She is preceded in death by husband, Kenneth Frank Verbeek and her parents.
