Daniel E. "Dan" Bohl, 65, of Centennial, Colorado, passed January 25, 2023.
Dan was born in Flint, Michigan, to Richard "Dick" and Doris "Dee" Bohl and Graduated from Eisenhower High School in Saginaw, Michigan. Dan went on to obtain his BBA from Western Michigan University in 1980.
Dan was self-employed for most of his life and his entrepreneurship led him to California and then in 1987 to Colorado.
Dan and Cindy (Heer) were married August 11, 1990, at Corona, California. Dan and Cindy made their home and raised their twins, Connor and Morgan, in the Denver area.
Dan achieved the Eagle Scout rank at age 15 and remained a lifelong participant in the Boy Scouts of America. Dan was the Scoutmaster or Course Director for Woodbadge in the Denver Council and proud recipient of the Silver Beaver award. The Silver Beaver Award is the highest honor the Greater Colorado Council, Boy Scouts of America can bestow upon a volunteer Scouter in recognition of distinguished service to youth.
Dan was smart, hard-working, funny and generous. Dan was an ace tennis player, scratch golfer, master woodworker and he shared his love of camping all over Colorado with his family and friends. Dan was passionate about food and sought out the gems among Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. Dan's favorite place to visit was Pagosa Springs, Colorado.
Dan proudest moment was the birth of his children. Dan loved traveling with Cindy to watch both their daughter and son play Division I College Volleyball.
Dan is survived by Cindy his wife of 32 years, children Morgan George (Kristov) of Boston and Connor Bohl of NYC, mother Doris Bohl of Anderson South Carolina, brother Randy Bohl (Pam) of Anderson South Carolina and his granddogs Georgie and Charlie of Boston.
Our beloved "Papa" never lost his kindness, generosity, humor and "thumb up" attitude throughout his fight with Parkinson's.
