Daniel Cortes

Daniel Cortes, 81, of Lakewood, CO, passed away on Saturday, October 20, 2007. He was born in Telonso, Santiago, Michoacan, Mexico to the late Jose and Josefina Cortes. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary Cortes. He is survived by daughters Janie (Les), Josie, Ramona (Nick), Nonie, Cindy (Dwight), Rosie and Frances; sons Danny Ray and Joseph; sister Alicia; brothers Jose, Miguel and Antonio; 42 grandchildren; 80 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and son and he touched all he knew. He will be deeply missed by his family. Viewing will be 5-8 pm with a Rosary at 7 pm on Thursday, October 25th at Newcomer Family West Chapel, 901 S. Sheridan Blvd. Funeral Mass will be at 9 am on Friday October 26th at St. Cajetan Catholic Church, 299 S. Raleigh St. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visit www.newcomerfamily.com.
