Daniel J. McLaughlin was born September 26, 1942 in Camden, NJ to parents Cora Helen (Mattison) McLaughlin and Reginald John McLaughlin. He passed away May 4, 2020 at home, surrounded by loving family.
Surviving are spouse, Roma; ex-wife, Emily; children, Lillus, Dalana (Daimon), Dachelle, Chiana (Audie); stepchildren, Michael, Patrick (Tess), Danial and Lynda Holden. Surviving grandchildren are Isaac (Shayna) Darian, Danika, Selena, Ethyn, A.J., David, T-gan (Eric), Shelby (Arnie), Allen and Stacey and one great-grandchild, Ke-gan. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Dorothy, Richard, Michael, Terence, Isabel, Patricia, Mary, Dede, and special nephew, Jeremy.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Joan and brother, James
Daniel attended schools in Camden and Trenton, N.J.
He accomplished Army basic training at Ft. Jackson, SC in 1962.
He settled in Colorado after living in several states doing various jobs. His last employment was with Caterpillar from 1972 until he was disabled in 1983.
Danny loved going to the Dog Track, Las Vegas, bowling and Bingo. He was always "the life of the party." He will be in our hearts and minds forever.
Psalm 34:18: "The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
