Daniel Martinez

Daniel (Popo) Martinez was born in Crowley Colorado on June 28th, 1940. A lifelong resident of Colorado passed away on May 7, 2023, at home following a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease, surrounded by his loved ones.

Daniel Served in the United States Marine Corp. He worked for Electron, and the City of Englewood. He loved fishing in Alaska, and in Canada, soft ball, gambling, and spending time with his grandchildren. He also loved The Raiders.

He is survived by his spouse Anna Martinez, Sons: Terri Rios, Dave(Joline)Martinez, Siblings: Joe(Joann)Martinez, Madilynn Bueno, Grand Children: Ashley Rios, Dj Martinez, Zachary Martinez, Alishia Martinez, Brittany Sisneros, Cheyenne Martinez, and 9 great grandchildren. Daniel was preceded in death by his parent Lorenzo & Benerita Martinez, Siblings: Manual Martinez, Rita Sisneros, Stella Vigil, Son Mark Martinez, Grand Daughter Renee Martinez.

Services will be held May 15, 2023 at Newcomer Mortuary, West Metro Chapel, 901 South Sheridan Blvd., Lakewood, Colorado at 1:00 pm. Followed by a service at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, 4400 West Kenyon Ave., Denver, Colorado. Date and time to be announced at later.
