Darlene C. Bell
84, of Lakewood, passed away April 18, 2010. She is survived by her sister June Elfstrom; children David Bell, Diane and her husband Ron Trickel; grandchildren, Christopher and Brian Bell. She was preceded in death by her brother John (Jack) Brobeck, and Beryl L. Bell, husband of 47 years, with whom she enjoyed many years of traveling. Darlene was born in Rockford, IL. She came to Colorado on vacation and decided to stay. She worked as a book keeper for Montgomery Wards and Meyer Home Center. In their retirement, both Beryl and Darlene, volunteered for Laborer's for Christ building churches from one end of the United States to the other. Darlene was a very active person. She proudly worked in her flower gardens, sewed, baked, took daily walks, and was very involved at church. A funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Monday, April 26th at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Golden, CO. Burial will follow at Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
