Darlene J. Collins

In loving memory of Darlene J. Collins. Darlene died on June 26, 2011 in Palm Springs, CA at the age of 85. She was the loving wife of Virgil T. Collins for 65 years. Prior to her retirement, Darlene was a longtime secretary for the Aurora Public Schools. Darlene and Virgil were active members of the Friendship Force in Denver. She is survived by her children, Malinda (Michael) Fletcher and Ryan (Kari) Collins, and her grandchildren, Lindsay (Alan) Shettlesworth and Chris Collins. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00am on July 6, 2011 at Parkview Congregational Church United Church of Christ, 12444 Parkview Drive, Aurora, CO 80011. A private interment will follow at Fort Logan Cemetery
