Darlene L. Kotch, 78, of Denver, passed away on January 28, 2022.
She was born on August 8, 1943 in Burlington, KS. She is the daughter of Wayde M. Webber (Father) and Lucy V Webber (Mother). She is survived by 3 brothers: James Webber, Ivan Webber and Daniel Webber.
Darlene married her one true love, Kenneth J. Kotch on July 2, 1960, who passed away on April 12, 2002. She is survived by their 4 children: James V. Kotch, Rhonda L. Dempsey, Saundra J. Lubben and Vincent E. Kotch and 8 grandchildren: Tiffany Crump, Angela Vigil, Tamara Vigrass, Chad Vigrass, Adam Heckler, Ashley Kotch, Chaundale Lubben and Rachel Kotch. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren. There are many other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends that are like family.
Darlene was loved by all. Family was always her top priority and joy in life. She hosted decades of gatherings and celebrations at the family home in Denver. On one of her last days, she wanted to get home so she could start a game of wink 'em…one of the many games she hosted at the house. Spoons was no longer allowed to be played at the house. She enjoyed working in her yard and planting so many flowers. Darlene enjoyed relaxing sunrises, sunsets and many beautiful days swinging in the porch swing on the back deck.
A memorial service will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home Saturday, February 19, 2022, at 2:30 p.m.
