Darrel W. Muhr

Darrel Muhr, 94, of Aurora, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, March 9, 2025. He was born in Banner County, Nebraska. His family moved to California in 1936. The family returned to Banner County in 1949.

Darrel married Bethalea Burnett in 1952. They lived together in Nebraska, Wyoming, and Colorado before settling in Aurora in 1967. Darrel worked for the Federal Government for 30 years in the Social Security Administration and Medicare Program. He retired in 1990. Darrel enjoyed traveling across the country. He liked to bird hunt, fish, work in the yard and especially his flowers. Darrel is survived by several brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Darrel was an active member of New Life Community Church. He enjoyed the visits of many of his church family who made sure he had weekly visits.
