David Patrick Eddy

David Patrick Eddy, of St. Mary’s, Kansas passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, after having received the sacraments of Holy Mother the Church surrounded by family members.

He was born on March 6, 1941, in Los Angeles, California to Roland and Mary Catherine (Pangborn) Eddy.

He graduated from St. Francis de Sales High School in Denver, Colorado in 1959. He joined the U.S. Army and served from 1959 to 1964, completing a tour in Korea, achieving the rank of Staff Seargent E6. In 1969, he embarked on a long career in construction as a carpenter and a construction supervisor.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Clita (Silva) Eddy and his children, Mary Pat (Mark), David (Julie), Anissa (Wes) and was preceded in death by his youngest son, Christopher. He is survived by 25 grandchildren, including two Roman Catholic religious Sisters, 32 great- grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his two siblings, Terrance Shiela Eddy and Mary Michael Stellar. He is survived by one sibling, Peter Eddy. 

A visitation will be held from 12:00PM - 12:30pm with the recitation of the Rosary at 12:30pm on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Watkins, Colorado.

Sung Requiem Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at St. Isidore Catholic Church in Watkins, Colorado with burial following at St. Isidore Catholic Cemetery adjacent to the Church. A potluck reception will follow in the basement of the Church to which all are invited to attend.
