David "Dave" Ellis, 84, of Northglenn, formerly of Golden, passed away January 6, 2019.
He was born February 23, 1934 in Denver, Colorado, the son of Henry Ellis and Olinda (Frank) Ellis. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was retired from Coors Brewery.
David is survived by a son, Kurt (Rita) Ellis; a daughter, Lynn (James) Panetta; brothers, Richard (Joyce) Ellis and Mike (Becky) Schaefer; two grandchildren, Lindsey (Ivan) Dreyer and Carly Owens and two great-grandchildren, Scotlyn Dreyer and Levi Dreyer. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Elmer "Luke" Schaefer.
