David Foyle was born in Royal Oak, Michigan to Chuck and Margaret Foyle on July 10, 1958, and passed away on April 21, 2023 near his home in Aurora, Colorado. He attended Kimball High School where he met his wife, Kathleen, in Mr. Schmidt's physics class during their senior year of high school. Dave attended a year of college at Michigan State University before ultimately relocating to Colorado, which he would make his permanent home.
High school sweethearts, Dave and Kathleen, were married on August 23, 1980 at a church in Ferndale, Michigan, and then Kathleen moved to Colorado to join him immediately after the wedding.
Dave began his career as an operator for Security Life where he received years of on the job training and ultimately became an established computer programmer, which he would continue with several different companies until retirement. He earned a bachelors in computer programming from Metro State.
Dave was a lifelong Detroit Tigers baseball fan, extremely talented handyman including years of volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity, and a longtime pool shark. Through his employment, fantasy baseball league, and his aptitude for teaching others the game of pool, he became a beloved and respected friend to countless people. His sense of humor, kind and very social nature, and love and pride for his family, especially his granddaughter, were very well known and will always be remembered.
Dave is survived by his wife of nearly 43 years, son Conor, daughter Leah and her husband Scott, his beloved grandchildren Delilah and "Baby Patnesky" expected October 2023, many other loving family members, and countless friends he made and kept close throughout his life. He is preceded in death by his parents.
