David Goodrich Thompson

of Rapid City, MI, passed away peacefully in Swedish Medical Center, Englewood, CO, on March 17, 2008. He had dealt with longstanding health problems for several years. He was born in Trenton, New Jersey, on May 18, 1924, married on October 10, 1953, and became a resident of Michigan in 1998. Mr. Thompson is survived by his brother, Clifford, also of Rapid City, MI; his wife Montez, of Rapid City , MI; and by seven children, seventeen grandchildren, and one great grandchild. He was an active member of the Elk Rapids Baptist church, since 1998. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Elk Rapids Baptist Church, 400 E. 3rd St., Elk Rapids, MI 49629.
