HARRISON, David Neil Michael
On Friday, March 20, 2020, David Harrison passed away at home, peacefully in his sleep, at the age of 66 years.
Dave was born on January 6, 1954, in Clovis N.M., the third of five children, to Edward and Arlene Harrison. He was preceded in death by both parents, brothers Roger and Bruce, and sister Pattian. Dave will be lovingly remembered by his best friend and wife of 29 years, Paula and their son Calvin (Karryn), son Edward Blake, granddaughter Mya Mai, sister Donna Harrison, and dog Bella. Dave will also be forever remembered by his countless aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
Dave grew up in Amarillo, TX and later settled down in Aurora, CO. He was a loving husband, dad, and grandpop. With his enormous presence and an even bigger heart, Dave had the ability to make anyone he encountered laugh to tears. Dave enjoyed sports but mostly football; although, he couldn't get enough of March Madness and his Duke Blue Devils! He loved watching movies and maintained a staggering collection, large enough to rival any movie buff.
He was a family man to the end with nothing but the selfless intention of caring for his loved ones.
He will be missed and forever remembered by all that knew him!
Due to the shelter in place order aimed at preventing the spread of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, we will not be able to gather and celebrate our friend Dave.
