David Gerard Ralph

David Gerard Ralph of Lakewood, Co, beloved Husband, Father and Papa, walked into the arms of his savior, Jesus Christ on February 5, 2022.

Born in Pasadena, CA, his family soon saw the error of their ways and escaped to Colorado at the first possible opportunity. He graduated from Green Mountain High School in 1977 and from the University of Colorado – Denver in 1998. In the middle of these important and awe-inspiring events, he met and married Peggy, the mother of his two amazing, wonderful, and adoring children.

He worked at Western Panel and Texaco as a draftsman. This was enough to send him back to school to get his degree in Electrical Engineering, which he finished 18 months before his daughter graduated from high school.

David enjoyed coaching Little League Baseball, and Softball; as well as attending Middle School and High School football games, concerts, and marching band performances. His favorite part of working downtown was watching Coors Field being built and sneaking out a little early to catch a Rockies game. He loved riding his motorcycle with his son Sean and cruising through the mountains in Colorado and Northern California getting some "cycle therapy".

One of David's favorite accomplishments was being promoted to the role of Papa by his grandchildren. They were the light of his life, and he enjoyed having them around as much as possible. Especially when they wanted to argue about math problems.

David is preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Diana Ralph, and his brother John.
He is survived by his sister Melinda, wife Peggy, their children Kortnee and Sean, and his grandchildren Logan, Rose, and Finnegan.

A celebration of life will be held for David at Coors Field on February 17.
