Deacon Raymond Scott

Deacon Earl Raymond Scott, 81, was born on Tuesday, May 5, 1942 to the Late Calvin Cleo Scott and Betty Lou Grant in Denver, CO. Deacon Scott transitioned from life to life on Sunday, December 31, 2023 into the presence of the Lord.

Deacon Scott attended Whittier Elementary, Cole Jr. High School and Manuel High School. He began his entrepreneurial business in landscaping, tree trimming and home maintenance in 1977. In his career, he was well traveled throughout the United States including Rome, Italy, and Africa.

Deacon Scott met the apple of his eye, Renee. They were wed in Holy Matrimony on Monday, July 1, 1996. This union brought about a beautiful blended family of six wonderful children.

Deacon Earl loved the Lord. For a number of years, he and his wife attended SoulCare Full Gospel Center under the leadership of the Late Apostle Lawrence Powell and Dr. Sandra Powell. Currently, Deacon Scott was a faithful member of Life Changers Ministries under the leadership of Bishop Rayfield Whittington and Lady Rita Whittington until the Lord called him home.

Deacon Scott was preceded in death by his sister, Mable Choice.

Earl leaves to cherish his memories, his Beloved Wife of 28 years, Renee; sons, Earl Jr. (Debbie), Nathaniel, and Larry Jr. (La Quta) with whom he had a great father-son relationship; daughters, Ramona (Mark), Misha and Michelle; sisters, Sondra Francis, Novuyo Masakhane and Sheldon Porter; grandchildren, great grandchildren, a great-great grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.
