DeWayne Collins, 48 of Golden
Most beloved husband of Leslie and most beloved Daddy of Jillian.
Son of Virginia (Collins) Topping. Brother of Linda Bade and Paul Collins. Preceded in death by his father James Collins and brother Lyle. DeWayne will be remembered with much love by a host of nieces and nephews and his extended family.
DeWayne graduated from Alameda High School in 1978. He worked for many years at the McGee Company and recently left to pursue business in the freight industry.
DeWayne and Leslie married in November of 1983 and would have celebrated their 25th Wedding Anniversary this year.
Active at Foothills Bible Church, DeWayne served for many years as an Usher and served on the Mission Committee. He and his family had the privilege of participating in multiple mission trips to Chinle, Arizona.
DeWayne enjoyed working with his hands, building homes and furniture. He also enjoyed working with the semi trucks.
DeWayne was a loyal Christian, husband, father, son, brother and friend.
He will be missed by us all.
