Diana Rockey

Diana Rockey, age 79, passed away on December 20, 2024 in her home.

Our beloved aunt, grandmother, and friend was born in Colfax, Washington to the late Thomas and Evelyn Phillips. She spent most of her early years of childhood in Stockton, California and after graduating from high school, she attended college for a time. She lived in many places throughout her life, California, Washington, Virginia, New Mexico and finally landed in Denver. Diana worked for 30 years in the Social Security Administration of the federal government. She loved travelling on adventures, visiting Cabo San Lucas, Mexico many times. She went fossil hunting, camping, canoeing, and scuba diving. She had a passion for working in her flower beds and could always be found in her yard when at home. She was a wonderful aunt who loved her grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family members tremendously.

Diana is survived by her step grandchildren Eamon Rockey and Emily Rockey, ex-husband Eugene Rockey, brother Charles Phillips, her nephew Craig Kent Hill, and niece Janet Lee Hill. Surviving nephews and nieces are Alexander Ives Ober, Matthew Alan Ober, Stephanie Renae Blanton, Andrew Kent Hill. Surviving great nephews and nieces: Gregory David Alan Ober, Heavenly Renae Ober, Renae Denise Ober, Anthony Allen Ober, Xander Scott Blanton-Garcia, and Zelda Renae Schuyler.

Diana meets her father and mother, Thomas and Evelyn Phillips, her sister Virginia Lee Stewart, her brother Patrick T. Phillips, niece Renae Denise Blanton, and aunts, uncles, and cousins whom she loved dearly in Eternity.
