Dolora Jacqueline Cope, 84, of Denver, passed away July 19, 2018.
Jackie, as everyone knew her, was born on May 22, 1934 in Denver, Colorado. She lived her whole life in Denver. Jackie graduated from Denver South High School. She held various jobs throughout her lifetime and eventually started her own housecleaning service.
She was very close to her father, mother and older brother. Her father was a firefighter and she loved spending time at the firehouse with him. She lost her father at an early age. It was something that she never quite got over. She remained close to her brother until his death. She always had such fun teasing him.
She met A.J. Cope in her teens and later they married and had two children, Janice and Randy.
Jackie was a born again Christian and an avid hula dancer. She developed a deep love for Hawaii. Unfortunately, she was never able to travel there.
Jackie loved God and attending church services and the people she met there. She remained active until her health failed this year. She passed into the arms of the Lord on July 19, 2018.
Dolora is survived by her daughter, Janice (Albert) Naranjo; son, Randy Cope; two grandchildren, Ineva (Ryan) Carey and Jessica (Eric) Morris. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
