Dolores May Patrick

Dolores May (Shepard) Patrick, 91, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away Monday, November 18, 2024, at her assisted living home at Brookdale Greenwood Village. 

Dolores was born January 24, 1933, in Johnson, Kansas, and grew up in Satanta, Kansas, where she met her future husband Charles L. Patrick. Dolores and Charles were married February 15, 1952. She was a member of Aurora First Presbyterian Church and was a coffee cart volunteer for 30 years at the Aurora Medical Center. Over the years, Dolores enjoyed bowling in her early years, painting, traveling, watching her family grow, and winning at Bingo. 

She is survived by her five children, Randy Patrick, Connie Patrick, Valerie (Jim) Urbina, Kevin (Polly) Patrick, and Neal (Pam) Patrick; eight grandchildren Jennifer Koontz Davis, Robert (Jen) Koontz, Lynn (Dan) Hanavan, Eric Urbina, Darren Patrick, Tyler Patrick, Katie Patrick, Megan Patrick; and four great grandchildren, Shelbie Davis, Gracie Davis, Landon Hanavan and Avery Hanavan.

Dolores was preceded in death by her parents Oscar and Esther Shepard, husband Charles L. Patrick, brother Emery Shepard, and sister Lavonne Ray.

Celebration of Dolores’s life will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 27, at Newcomer, East Metro Chapel, 190 Potomac Street, Aurora, CO.
