Dominic Robert Harwell, 11, passed away January 29th, 2021.
Dominic was born on June 4th 2009, in Brighton, Colorado. He was a student of Cherry Creek Academy, in Centennial. He attended Hope United Methodist Church. Dominic was an energetic child who loved nothing more than being outdoors. He enjoyed most sports and played Lacrosse year long. He was advancing in Kumon.
Dominic loved imaginative play. He created his own detailed imaginative worlds full of compelling characters, running dialogue and plot twists. His favorite role playing games were when he was running free and exploring the Minnesota woods. Always kind, warm, loving, dedicated and soft hearted, Dominic was loved by his family and friends. He will be remembered for his smile, his easy going attitude and generosity.
Dominic was preceded in death by his mother, Kim Harwell and paternal grandfather Frank Harwell. He is survived by his father, Jeffrey Harwell; sisters, Victoria and Natalia, and maternal grandmother, Brenda Vaughn, great grandfather, Robert Rates, and paternal grandmother, Sheryl Harwell. He leaves behind aunt, Diane Merrill, cousins Kenneth, Kevin, and Tracy of Louisville, Kentucky; Karen, Johana, Robert, Brandi, Francisco, Sonya, Ariyana, Matt, Mike, Gabe, and Christine of Colorado; and, numerous other cousins, nieces, and nephews in addition to many others who were family by choice.
