Donald E."Don" Storm

Donald E. Storm, 83, passed away Sunday June 7th, 2020. Don was born November 22,1936 in Sheldon, Iowa. Son of Blanche Balliet Storm and Albert Fredrick Storm he grew up in Sanborn, Iowa with his brothers Eldon and Glenn. He loved to play basketball and his 6'4" height was definitely helpful.

After graduating from High School he attended trade school in Kansas City and began working for North Central Airlines as a station agent or as he would laugh an equipment service agent. He loved his job and worked ground service for Northwest and various airlines for 41 years. He retired in 1999.

After retiring, Don spent his time making jewelry and going to sports games to watch and support his grand kids. He loved to work outside in the yard and help with the yard and building at Christ the Savior Lutheran Church. He loved his church and all the friends he made. He was a go to guy with many talents and could usually figure it out if a problem came up. His kids loved to call him Depot Don.

Don is survived by his wife of 61 years, Melva and his 3 children: Shelley and husband Ron, Alan and wife Kerry, and Jeff and wife Susan and grandchildren Kaitlyn and Colton.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to Christ the Savior Church Memorial Fund.
