Donald Lee "Donnie" Sanford, 66, of Aurora, passed away May 23, 2020.
He was born January 25, 1954 in Denver, Colorado, the son of Vearl and Evelyn (Jeffries) Sanford. He attended Lincoln High School.
On March 17, 1979, he married Debra Goodman.
Donnie loved music. He was in a band with his brothers called "The Sanford Gang." He loved to make car models. Donnie loved to watch classic horror movies and particularly enjoyed "The Munsters." He enjoyed listening to Johnny Cash, Jim Reeves, Marty Robbins and Les Paul.
Donald is survived by his wife of 41 years, Debra Sanford; brother, Jeff (Kathy) Sanford; sister, Kathy (Joe) Sanford; adopted mother, Willa Gallier; best friend, Joe Ruiz and many nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by father, Vearl George Sanford, Sr.; mother, Evelyn Louise Sanford; three brothers, Doug Sanford, Ronnie Sanford and Vearl Sanford, Jr. and sister, Joanne Sanford.
