Donald Edward Moore, of Denver Colorado, passed away on October 1, 2023, at the age of 86.
Donald was born to the late James and Lauretta Moore, on May 8, 1937, in Denver, CO. He was married to his devoted wife, Helen Moore (Bullington), for over 63 years and had four loving children together. Don was a hard worker in jobs that required long hours and a lot of physical endurance. Even after suffering multiple back and neck surgeries that left him with his whole spine fused, he continued working to support his family. At an early age, Don enjoyed fishing. He loved being with his family, singing to his children, and sports. Sports were a huge part of his everyday life. He would practice with his kids in the backyard, coach and referee the youth of his community. He was an avid Denver Bears, Broncos, and Nuggets fan who attended games, listened to them on the radio, and watched them on the television. His greatest joy on Earth was playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Don is survived by three children, Evvie (Harold/Bud), Kenny (Liz), and Jennifer. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, sister Dorothy, and multiple nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Helen and son Edward, parents James and Lauretta Moore, brothers Harold, Clarence, TJ, Dick, Bob, Vernon, Marvin, sister Betty and multiple nieces and nephews.
