Donald R. Rosenthal

Donald R. Rosenthal of Littleton, Colorado passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2008. Don was born in Toledo, Ohio to Frank and Katherine Rosenthal on April 16, 1928. Don attended Macomber High School and joined the US Navy in 1948 and saw service in the Pacific as a SeaBee. He joined the Toledo Fire Department in 1954, and married Constance (Connie) Breay as St. Joseph's church in Maumee, Ohio in April 1956. He continued to serve on the fire department until his retirement in 1980. In 1982 he moved his family to Colorado, where he worked for Martin Marietta and Walters Co. as a Chief Facilities Engineer.

He is survived by his sons, Michael (Dorothy) Rosenthal of Golden, Colorado, Robert (Cheryl) Rosenthal of Littleton, Colorado and Richard (Mary) Rosenthal of Temperance, Michigan, and his brother James of Toledo, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents Frank and Katherine, and Connie, his wife of 52 years.

Viewing will be held on Monday, October 13, 2008 at 5:00 PM with a Rosary following at 6:00 PM; Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at 1:00 PM all at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Littleton, Colordo 80120.
