The Military Honor service for Donald Regier, 89, will be at 10:30 a.m. prompt on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2022, at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W. Kenyon Avenue, Denver, Colorado, 80236 (wait at Staging Area B, North Entrance at 10:15 a.m. sharp for escort), with Pastor Joe Gomez officiating. Private inurnment will follow on same day at Fort Logan National Cemetery under the direction of Newcomer Funeral Homes & Crematory.

Donald was born October 22, 1932 in Okeene, Oklahoma to David L. Regier and Mabel Anna Frantz. He passed away peacefully April 12, 2022 at Brookdale-Littleton, Littleton, Colorado.

Don attended Okeene City School, Tabor College and Phillips University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Don married Betty Ann Hagen on February 21, 1958 at Enid, Oklahoma; both were lifelong members of the Mennonite Brethren Church. He worked as an Auditor, COO, Chief Accountant and Controller in the Banking, Construction and Small-Business sectors for six decades.

Donald served his country for 5 years in the Oklahoma National Guard and was called up for active duty in the U.S. Army at the start of the Korean War. Donald was issued The National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal.

Donald is survived by daughter, Pamela and her husband Richard Friesen of Brentwood, Tennessee; son Daryl and his wife MaryJo Regier of Littleton, Colorado; son Dayle and his wife Rachel Regier of Denver, Colorado; brother Ed and his wife Frances of Fresno, California; brother Ken and his wife Carolyn Regier of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; 10 beloved grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

His parents, his wife Betty Ann Hagen Regier and his nephew Kyle Regier, preceded him in death.

If ordering flowers for the service, they must arrive at Newcomer Funeral Homes & Crematory, West Chapel by 9:00 a.m. on May 3rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in Donald's name.
