Donald S. Burn

Don passed away August 14, 2008 at Hospice of St. John after a battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, friend and companion of 51 years Margaret, 2 children Diana and David, multiple family members and friends, and canine companion Maddie.

Don did a tour with the United States Navy and the United States Air Force. Among Don's interests he was an avid race fan and one time participant, also was an accomplished bowler with a rather "competitive" nature. Don was also one of the original south stand super fans for the Broncos at Mile-Hi Stadium. Don was an art teacher at Kearney Jr. High/Middle School in Adams County District 14. Don will probably be best remembered for his sense of humor and quick wit. One of Don's passions was traveling with Margaret, cruises were his favorite including trips to Antartica, Australia, England, Alaska, and the Panama Canal to name a few.

In lieu of flowers family asks donations be made in Don's memory to the Hospice of St. John, 1320 Everett Court, Lakewood, CO 80215.
