Dong Yul Choi, beloved son, brother, and uncle, passed away November 22, 2019 while giving of himself, as he always was known.
Dong was born December 14, 1966 in Seoul, Korea. He graduated from Overland High School and furthered his education at the Art Institute of Colorado. He expressed himself through his art and will be remembered as a phenomenal artist.
Dong was happiest with his nephews and nieces, Evan, Andrew, Emily, Kyoung Jun, Jeniah, Henry and Brienna. Just as God and Jesus regarded everyone as their children, Uncle Dong regarded them as his children. The love they shared was genuinely cherished. Dong was always forgiving and carried many troubles on his own. Our brother was selfless and sacrificed his life to his parents for their happiness.
We lost you too soon, the pain is unbearable and you will be dearly missed. Brother, you are our Angel. We love you. You will remain in our hearts and live through us. You will forever be our brother, beloved son and an amazing Uncle.
We know that you have an eternal life and were greeted by Grandma Lee and Nina in the gates of Heaven. We feel your presence and know you're continuing to watch over us. You are home, please rest in peace. We love you.
23rd Psalm
The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures;
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul...
