Donita Viola Goddard

Donita was raised on a farm in Arlington Iowa. When she was 13 her Mother passed. Donita was left on the farm to raise her 2 younger siblings Lois and Duane while her father worked in town. Donita graduated from Arlington High School in 1956, worked in Waterloo Iowa for a short time before moving to Denver, CO with a friend. Once she was settled in Denver she had a variety of jobs doing administrative work, cafeteria cook for the Public School system and eventually retiring from The Department of Geological Survey Administration. Donita was a excellent cook and loving mother, she was active in the community volunteering at the Jefferson County Action Center assisting low income families with food and financial assistance.
