Dontae Michael Thompson

Dontae Michael Thompson, 19, of Aurora, passed away suddenly in a car accident on August 30, 2019.

He was born August 20, 2000 in St. Petersburg, Florida, the son Jamie Williams. He attended Central High School.

Dontae loved to draw, make music and listen to music. He loved to have a good time and wanted everyone to be happy. He would walk into a room and the room would light up. He never knew a stranger as everyone was drawn to him. He was helpful to anyone he met. He also will be remembered for his style. He was a devoted to his baby, Marcell Damian Thompson and his longtime sweetheart, Vanessa Garcia.

Dontae is survived by his son, Marcell Damian Thompson; mother, Jamie (Wayman Patton Jr.) Williams; brother, Christopher David McMickle; longtime sweetheart, Vanessa Garcia; three grandparents, Wayman (Dora) Patton Sr. and Linda Johns; niece, Anna-Marie McMickle; many aunts and uncles including Ashley Patton, Kelcey Erickson and Hal Johns, Jr.; many cousins, extended family and a host of friends.

He is preceded in death by his cherished Rottweiler, Turbo.

In lieu of flowers, donations are greatly accepted to help with the funeral expenses and expenses raising his infant child.
