Dora H. Buchner, 95, of Littleton, CO, formerly of Summit Ave. Jamestown, NY, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2020, in the Cherrelyn Healthcare Center, Littleton, CO.
She was the widow of Robert E. Buchner whom she married February 7, 1948 and who died October 4, 1982.
Dora was born February 13, 1925 in North Tonawanda, NY, a daughter of the late Elmer Heidenfeldt and the late Florence Belschner Pletcher.
She was a graduate of Wilson High School, Wilson, NY and was a longtime member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
Before moving to Colorado in 1992 to be near her sons, she was an active member of the Brooklyn Heights United Methodist Church. While in Colorado she was a member of the New Aurora First Assembly of God, Church in Aurora, CO and active in the Aurora Christian Learning Center as a day care leader.
Surviving are two sons; Lance R. Buchner of Lakewood, CO, Tracy E. Buchner of Denver, Co, two grandchildren; Amanda J. Buchner of CA, Benjamin A. Buchner of CO, a great grandson, Camden "CJ" Buchner, a sister; Lois A. Lovis of Emmaus, PA and two sister-in-laws; Meg Heidenfeldt of Hilo, Hawaii, Pat Fohl of Charlotte, NC.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert E. Heidenfeldt.
The funeral will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, November 3, 2020, in the Lind Funeral Home. The Rev. Gordon Robbins will officiate. Burial will be in the Sunset Hill Cemetery. Visitation will not be observed.
