Doris Marie Cooper

Doris along with her mother Luella came from Dallas,Tx to Denver,Co. Doris started her roots to motherhood with five children, Chris, Valerie deceased, Denise, Paula, and David. Doris supported and brought them up in the fear and protection of God. She worked hard, sometimes taking on two jobs to get and have things for herself and children. She came to the Lord early byway of Holy Trinity Church of God in Christ, under Pastor Sammuel Feaster. The five loved their Mother so much that they presented to her "The Mother of The Year Award" letting her know how much they appreciated her. Doris worked for Wesco Fabrics many years as a seamstress making drapes. She loved to sew and could sew anything she set her mind to do. She loved church and was found busy with choir directing the youth, and found herself serving when needed.

In 1980 she met Anthony Cooper. She agreed to become his loving wife and married him on July 18, 1981. She became his "One in A Million" at Holy Trinity Church of God in Christ. In the union two children were born Shadawn, and James. Doris became a mother to seven children and was blessed to see each reach adulthood, become parents and grandparents.

Chris -- Jeremy (deceased), Christopher, and Travis. Grandparent of 6.

Vaierie (deceased) -- Shyvetta, Paris, and Damisha. Grandparent of 7.

Denise -- Tenecia, Anthony. Grandparent of 10.

Paula -- Breland, Chabrie. Grandparent of 2.

David --- Dei-Ray. Grandparent of 1.

Shadawn --- Nevaeh, D'Ajanae, Drecion. Grandparent of 1.

James -- Jada, Jalissa, Navesha, Uzuri, Malaysia, L'sharee, Demejah, Demetrius, Neytiri, Ashanti, Amari, Ava.

Seven children born to Doris Marie with 26 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
