Doris C. Schueller

Doris C. Schueller, 96, of Denver, CO, formerly of Dubuque, IA, passed away peacefully at Someren Glen Assisted Living on Thursday, January 11, 2024.

Surviving are her sister Bette (Farni) Bell of East Dubuque, IL, and many nieces and nephews. Doris was preceded in death by her husband Ken, her parents, five sisters and two brothers.

Doris was born in Dubuque March 3, 1927. She graduated from Dubuque Senior High School in 1945, and from Northwestern Radio-Television Institute in Minneapolis, MN, in 1947. From there, she returned to Dubuque to work at Interstate Power Co. for several years.

Doris made her move to Colorado in 1954. She was a fun, strong, independent woman who worked in the computer industry for RCA Computers for many years. She married her long-time sweetheart, Ken, in 1985, and was blessed with 31 years of marriage. Doris enjoyed traveling, playing bridge with her bridge group, and shopping. She was always up for a good garage sale! She was a life-long learner who was proud to be a Denverite and Coloradan. Her wisdom, humor, and sweet smile - all accompanied by a twinkle in her eye - will be missed by the many who knew and loved her.
