Doris Taylor was born Doris Elsie Nickols in Wisconsin on January 19, 1931, where she grew up and went to high school. Doris was very active in the Church of God. On one of their services Doris met a young man named Berle who came to church. Well as the Lord had planned it, they fell in love within those 3 months and got married.
Once married they decided to move to California where they adopted their only son Eddie. After attending Wycliff for 2 months, Berle, Doris, and Eddie packed up and went on the mission field to Mexico City for the next 2 ½ years sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.
On their return to the United States they decided to settle down in Thornton Colorado and bought a house there. They a house in 1966 and lived there up until they went to Heaven. While in Colorado Berle attended Moody and at the same time worked for a power washing company and a tire shop. Doris worked as an administrative assistant at their church until she decided to be a homemaker.
Doris and Berle supported a ministry called Life Water which was in Africa and Philippines. Eddie decided to go to the Philippines with this ministry and met and fell in love with Imelda and were married in 1995 and had two precious children, Breanna born in 1997 and Holly born in 1999.
Doris loved working in her garden and taking care of her home along with her loving dog and cat. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Berle in 2017 and her loving son, Eddie in 2021
Doris went to be with the Lord on Friday May 3rd, singing and praising the Lord.
