Dorothy L. "Dot" Baca , 63, of Denver, passed away November 9, 2019. She was born October 30, 1956 in Leadville, Colorado, the daughter of Benjamin and Mary (Quintana) Duran.
Dorothy is survived by husband Christopher Baca, Sr., three Daughters, Michele (Kevin) Archuleta, JoElla (Martin) Toledo, Rosalie Baca; son, Christopher Baca, Jr.; six grandchildren, Antonia Baca, Savannah Baca, Brianna Jacobo, Alicia Jacobo, Noah Archuleta, Christina Baca; two great-grandchildren, Alyiah Baca, Loveayah Ferrell; four sisters, Rose (Sam Sanchez) Sanchez, Naomi (Dave Miles) Miles, Kathy Duran, Lara Duran; . She is preceded in death by parents Mary and Ben Duran and beloved brother Ben (George) Duran.
Celebration of Dot's life will begin with a Rosary 6:00 pm, Wednesday, November 20, 2019, Notre Dame Catholic Church with refreshments to follow. Memorial Mass 10:00 am, Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Notre Dame Catholic Church with reception to be announced at a later date.
November is Pancreatic Cancer Awareness month and the family is requesting everyone to wear purple to the service (that is the color for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness). Thank you and God Bless.
