Dorothy C. "Dottie" Doss, 83, of Aurora, passed away December 7, 2019.
She was born May 12, 1936 in Illinois, the daughter of Walter and Ruth (Wallenburg) Ainsworth.
In December of 1974, she married Darwin Robert Doss.
Dottie enjoyed cleaning and make cheesecake from scratch. She also enjoyed a good cup of coffee. She was a people-person and never knew a stranger.
Dorothy is survived by two nieces, Darlene Haut and Jan Stensrud; nephew, Donn Northcraft; two great-nieces, Jennifer (Paul) Gridley and Dawn Northcraft; four great-nephews, Robert (Paul Block) Haut, Jared (Amy) Grosinske, Jeff Grosinske and Vince Piazza; great-great-nephew, Declan Moga and many extended family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by husband, Darwin Robert Doss; father, Walter Ainsworth; mother, Ruth Ainsworth; sister, Ruth Ainsworth, two brothers, Ralph Ainsworth and Donald Ainsworth and her cherished Chihuahua, Taffy.
