Dorothy "Dottie"(Long) Raisio

Dorothy "Dottie" (Long) Raisio passed away on December 22, 2021, with her family at her side. Dottie was born in Nettleton, MS on Jun 3, 1943. After graduating from Okolona, MS, high school, she enlisted in the Air Force serving until Oct 1968 when she resigned and married Gary Raisio on Oct 21, 1968. They have two daughters, Michelle and Tara, both now living in the Denver area. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband Gary; daughters, Michelle and Tara; one granddaughter, Codi; one great-granddaughter, Ava Mae; three sisters, Wilma, Janie and Annette and a brother, Frank Jr. (all living in Okolona, MS) and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Etta Long; her sister, Becky and granddaughter, Ashleigh. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for contributions to the American Kidney Fund, American Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer's Association.
