Dorothy the daughter of Sostenes and Avelina Urias was born November 23, 1924 in Newton Iowa. She was educated in Newton, Iowa and received her high school diploma. Having lived in Newton until 1966 she moved to Westminster, Colorado.
On March 23, 1946 Dorothy was united in marriage with Junior D. Lockwood in Newton, Iowa. She devoted her life to her husband, son, and family.
Death came to Dorothy on Sunday January 6, 2019 at Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Junior in 1987; her three brothers E.N. " Mickey Urias, Soilo Urias, Jim Urias; her sister Mary Gonzalez; and her grandson John Lockwood.
Those left to honor her memory include her two brothers; Joe Urias and Sostenes Urias JR.; her son John Lockwood of Westminster, Colorado; her daughter-in-law Renea Lockwood of Westminster, Colorado; her granddaughter Ella Felix of Westminster, Colorado; and her two great grandsons Dominic Felix and Jayden Felix of Westminster, Colorado
