Dorothy M. McClain, 79, of Lakewood, passed away April 23, 2009.
Wife of Harry McClain. Mother of Marilyn (Jerry) Corwin, Northglenn. Grandmother of Melinda Zaczkowski, Johnstown, CO, Matthew Kibel, Boston, MA and Ashley Kibel, Maricopa, AZ. Great-grandmother of Amanda and Cassandra Zaczkowski, both of Johnstown, CO. Mrs. McClain was preceded in death by two children, Kevin Thomas McClain and Kathleen Ann Kibel.
Mrs. McClain was an alumni of the University of Colorado and obtained her Masters Degree in Social Work from Denver University. After graduation, she was employed by Big Brother's of Denver. Dorothy was loved by all fortunate enough to have known her. Her husband of 58 years will forever cherish their years together.
Services, Thursday 10:00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home - West Metro Chapel. Interment, Crown Hill Cemetery. Pastor Mike Lemke, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Cat Care Society, 5787 W. 6th Ave., Lakewood, CO 80214.
