Our Beloved Mother and Grandmother

Dorothy Williams, 84 of Denver, Colorado passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2010 after battling Ovarian Cancer.

Dorothy was born on November 14, 1925 in Edgerton, Wyoming to Leslie Donald Canning and Leotha Emma Stroh. She had two older brothers, Glen Donald Canning and Dallas Wayne Canning.

In 1951, Dorothy met Martin Gerhart Williams and they were married on August 30, 1952.

Dorothy lived her life for her family. She loved to travel with Martin and the kids and watch them grow and learn with each new adventure. We love her dearly and will miss her never-ending love and support.

Dorothy is survived by her brother Glen; children: Debbie Carney and Karen Rowe; five grandchildren: Janene Ward, Jason Carney, Kyle Carney, Matt Rowe, and Stephanie Rowe; five great-grandchildren: Braden Ward, Avery Ward, Ashton Ward, Jet Carney, and Tyne Carney. Dorothy is preceded in death by her beloved husband Martin (9/1/2003) and brother Dallas (9/1954)
