Dorothy Lee Thies

Dorothy L (Vincent) Thies 85 of Lakewood Colorado passed away on July 8, 2023.

Dorothy was born in Miami Oklahoma on March 16, 1938 to Albert and Ruby Vincent. She was the 3rd of 4 children.

After graduating High School Dorothy moved to Portland Oregon, worked at AT&T, put herself through college to get her teaching degree.

Dorothy was married to Fred for 60 years and they had 3 children: Fred Jr, Beatrice, and David. They had 4 grandchildren: Joseph Senn, Courtney (Senn) Oster, Nicholas Thies, and Brian Thies. They also had 2 great grandchildren: Deegan Oster and MaKenna Oster

Dorothy was a long time Bridge player, square dancer, and bowler

Celebration of Life will be held at Newcomers 901 Sheridan Lakewood Colorado. 9:00 – 9:30 visitation, 9:30 services, and a small reception immediately following at Newcomers.
