Dorothy F. Woodcook, 90, of Lakewood, passed away March 6, 2018.

She was born January 5, 1928 in Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of Little Ray and Emma (Portis) Kreider.

She was a graduate of Heighton High School.

In 1947, she married John E. Woodcook, Sr.

Dorothy was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church where she was active in Mary Martha and Altar Guild.

Dorothy enjoyed watching Perry Mason and Matlock. She also enjoyed reading biographies. In her younger years, she also enjoyed playing bridge and bowling.

Dorothy is survived by Daughter, Susan Ruth (Mike) Farrell; Two Daughters-In-Law, Vicki A. Woodcook and Vicky L. Woodcook; Three Grandchildren, Michael F. Farrell, Jr., Jessica (Michael) Koschik and Stephanie Woodcook; Three Great-Grandchildren, Ryan Koschik, Joshua Koschik and Isaiah Gee; Two Nephews, Harvey A. Kreider and Fred Kreider.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, John E. Woodcook, Sr.; two sons, Robert A. Woodcook and John E. Woodcook, Jr.; father, Little Ray Kreider; mother, Emma Leona Kreider; brother, Kenny Kreider and her twin sister, Doris Kreider.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mary Martha Society and the Altar Guild at Bethlehem Lutheran Church or to the American Cancer Society.
