Douglas J. Kelly

Douglas Joseph Kelly (Rip) was born on March 5, 1922 and died on August 20, 2007 at the age of 85.

He is survived by his wife, Verna Chadbourne Kelly. Douglas and Verna have three children, Douglas F. Kelly (Jean), Kristyne K. Hernandez (Roger), and Kathleen Kelly. They have 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Douglas served in the US Navy for 4 years. He taught Math in the Farmingdale School district for 35 years. After retiring, he moved to Port Isabel, TX and lived there for ten years. At his time of passing, he resided with his daughter, Kathy, in Lakewood, CO. Douglas was an avid jogger, skier, and fisherman. This vibrant man will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
