Douglas William Bell, age 60, passed away in his Denver apartment Monday, March 22nd, 2010.
Doug was born in Duluth, Minnesota to Violet and Sam Bell. He is survived by his children April Benson and Andy Bell, granddaughter Colette Benson, and sisters Debbie Holmes and Toni Lake. He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Bell.
Doug was a retired highway designer with CDOT. He was a Vietnam veteran who enjoyed playing guitar, traveling and cooking.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday March 27th, 2010 at 12:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home - West Metro Chapel, 901 S. Sheridan Blvd., in Lakewood.
Reception will follow at April's.
